Family & Friends Class description:
AHA’s video-based, classroom Family & Friends® CPR Course teaches adult Hands-Only™ CPR, adult AED use, child CPR and AED use, and infant CPR. It also teaches how to relieve choking in an adult, child or infant. This course offers training for those who want to learn CPR and do not require a course completion card. Includes manual. This course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn CPR for their own fulfillment, boy/girl scouts, baby sitters, etc.
Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Class description:
This class teaches CPR and how to operate an AED. This class is then followed with a First Aid class. Ideal for both citizens and healthcare providers alike. This does come with a course completion card upon passing the class. Participants are able to schedule to just attend the CPR/AED portion or the class in it's entirety.
BLS for Healthcare Providers class description:
This class teaches CPR, AED usage and management of airways and BVM usage. This class is intended for past and current healthcare providers and ideal for anyone in need of HCP CPR certification for a class/job. Examples would be anyone taking an EMT course, LPN, CNA, home-health care providers, daycare attendants, lifeguards, etc.
*NOTE* - Raytown EMS can now schedule BLS Skills practice & testing on an as needed basis for people who have completed the BLS for Healthcare Providers Online, HeartCode BLS, or BLS Anytime for Healthcare Providers.
