Alderman Janet Emerson
Representing Ward 3
Alderwoman Emerson would love to see more sidewalks,
infrastructure improvements and a park in her ward. These are just
a few of her passion projects. She was first elected in 2013. She has lived in Raytown since 1975, but
visited back in the 50s and 60s as her aunt and uncle were both business
owners in Raytown.
In addition to representing Ward 3 and being a business owner, Emerson is
currently serving on the following boards and commissions:
- Planning and Zoning Commission
- Administrative & Policy Ad Hoc Committee
- Committee of the Whole
She is also a member of the Raytown Chamber of Commerce and the
Raytown Main Street Association.
