All animals that we have impounded are posted onto this Facebook. If the animal is not posted on the page, we do not have it in our possession.

Impounds

After animal control picks up an at-large animal, it is held for 5 business days. After the stray hold period, the city becomes the owner of the animals. If you are the owner of an animal that we have impounded, give us a call at 816-737-7025 to verify that we have it. You must pay the impound fee before picking up your pet.
