Alderman Ryan Myers

Representing Ward 3

Passionate about Raytown, Alderman Ryan Myers’ goals for his ward and the City of Raytown are economic development and infrastructure revitalization. He is serving his second four-year term on the Raytown Board of Aldermen. In 2018, Ryan was elected Mayor ProTem by his peers and again in 2020.

FUN FACT: Ryan speaks fluent German and is a former coach of the Raytown and Raytown South High School Boys Swim Team.

Ryan serves as liaison to the Raytown Board of Education as well as

Board liaison to the Economic Development Committee. He is a member of the Missouri Municipal League and sits on its Economic Development and Human Relations Policy Committee.

A lifelong Raytown resident, Alderman Myers is active in the community. His volunteer activities include:

  •          Board of Directors for the Shepherd’s Center of Raytown
  •          Board of Directors for the Raytown Emergency Assistance Program (REAP)
  •          Member of the Raytown Municipal Redevelopment Corporation
  •          Member of the Raytown Chamber of Commerce and Tourism
  •          Member of the Department of Justice Raytown SPIRIT Campaign

Myers professional occupation is in commercial real estate consulting. He is the son of a union steel fabricator and has a younger brother who recently graduated from Truman State University.

When he is not wearing his Alderman hat, Ryan enjoys home brewing, cooking and traveling.
